This policy explains how EL Branch Ministries LLC, the operator of SermonStor, processes personal information through this marketing website and the SermonStor app. Contact us at support@sermonstor.com with privacy questions.

1. What We Collect
We process the information you provide when creating an account, contacting support, or using SermonStor. This can include your name, email, authentication details, sermons, scripture references, notes, venue and engagement details, uploaded files, and preferences. Connected features may process additional information that you authorize them to access.
Payment services handle payment credentials and provide transaction or subscription information needed to manage your plan. Authentication providers may supply account identifiers and profile details when you choose a third-party sign-in option.
Operating the Service also involves technical information such as IP addresses, device/browser information, request logs, and error information. Sermons and ministry records can reveal religious beliefs, which receive special protection under some privacy laws. They may also include financial or other sensitive information. Avoid placing sensitive information about other people in sermons or uploads without appropriate permission.
2. Uploads & Storage
Your library and uploads are processed by the infrastructure providers used to operate the Service. Access controls are intended to limit access to authorized users and service operations. Temporary signed file links allow access to anyone who holds the link until it expires; avoid sharing them unintentionally. A calendar subscription URL also allows its holder to read the exported calendar until you rotate that URL. A private library is not a guarantee that no authorized provider or administrator can process it.
If you choose to publish a profile or share material, the information you make public may be viewed, copied, or indexed by others. Only publish information you intend to share.
3. AI Processing
When you use the sermon assistant or AI-assisted import, your request, pasted text, and relevant library content may be transmitted to the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes requests to Google Gemini models, to generate an answer or extract fields. This can include personal information contained in that material.
AI service providers process submitted content under their applicable terms and our service configuration. Processing may include security logging and retention. Contact us for the current provider and processing terms before submitting sensitive material. We do not represent AI processing as confidential professional advice.
AI responses may contain errors. Review them before saving or sharing. Do not submit private information about another person unless you have the right to do so.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: store and organize your library, power search and Sermon assistant, and support connected calendar features you choose to use.
- To operate your account: authenticate you, process payments and renewals, and send transactional email (receipts, security notices, password resets).
- To communicate: respond to support requests and, when you separately opt in, send product news with a way to unsubscribe. The current Pro trial request preview does not submit or store your username and does not enroll you in email updates.
- To keep the Service safe and working: detect abuse, debug errors, and understand aggregate usage so we can improve features.
- To comply with the law, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We use personal information for the purposes described in this policy. Contact us if you need further details before using a connected or AI feature.
5. How We Share Information
Information is processed by providers needed to run the features you use. These include Supabase/Lovable Cloud for the backend and storage, the Lovable AI Gateway and Google Gemini for AI requests, Google or Apple when you choose their sign-in option, Apple for App Store transactions, and Paddle for supported web purchases. Map views request tiles from Esri/ArcGIS and display OpenStreetMap attribution where applicable. Scripture lookup requests passage references from bible-api.com. These services receive technical request information when used. Cloudflare provides domain DNS and support-email routing. Support messages are forwarded to designated Google/Gmail inboxes so our team can respond. Email delivery providers also process account communications. Connected services receive the information required for the connection you authorize. Providers may also process information under their own applicable privacy terms.
We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or support a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. Information you intentionally publish or share is disclosed to the audience you choose.
6. Cookies & Tracking
The app uses browser or device storage for authentication, preferences, and functionality. This marketing website stores your theme preference in your browser. It does not currently install optional analytics or advertising trackers. An older version may have stored a cookie-notice choice, which you can clear through your browser settings.
The marketing website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request the font styles and files, which discloses technical information such as your IP address and browser request information. Our hosting provider also processes technical information needed to deliver the website. You can manage local storage through browser settings; clearing app authentication storage may sign you out. We will update the disclosures and provide any legally required consent controls before introducing optional tracking.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You can view, edit, or delete individual sermons at any time inside the app, and use any export controls available for your account. Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may also have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive it in a portable format. To make a request, email support@sermonstor.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we'll respond within the time required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing, and complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Data Retention
We retain information as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse. Cancelling a subscription is different from deleting an account.
You can request account or data deletion by contacting us. The app offers immediate deletion and a scheduled deletion option with a 30-day grace period. That grace period is separate from backup retention. Some records may need to be retained for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security purposes. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires. Information already shared with others may remain in their possession. Retention periods depend on the information, purpose, legal requirements, and backup system. Contact us for the retention details applicable to your request.
9. Security
We use safeguards intended to protect information, including the access controls provided by our infrastructure. No service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access. Protect your credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. International Use
Our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements depend on the transfer and jurisdiction. Use of the Service alone is not a substitute for any transfer mechanism required by law. Contact us for information about processing locations and applicable safeguards.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@sermonstor.com and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date, and provide notice of material changes through the Service or by email where required by law.
